Samuel Tarly, the member
of the Night's Watch, is a fat man, who was thrown to the Night's Watch by his
family just because he was fat and couldn't hunt and fight. He is the eldest
son in the House Tarly.
In the Season 6 of this
series we see him stealing the Heartsbane, the Valyrian Sword, which was meant
to be his by birth right. Samuel might have thought that the Valyrian Sword
might help Jon to fight the Night King when the long night comes.
Samuel can be seen as a
book worm in this series. He is seen giving new idea and information to most
characters in this series.
In conclusion, Samuel
Tarly is an intelligent man with his distinctive characteristic of industrious
learning, or reading. He is the most trustworthy and close friend of the lead
character Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen.
