Character Review: Jon Snow


Born on a tower in Dorne, Jon Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, sister of Eddard Stark. Lyanna was supposed to marry Robert Baratheon of House Baratheon, but was taken by Rhaegar.
Ned or Eddard Stark found this boy in a tower of Dorne beside his dying sister, Lyanna Stark, in her bed. As shown in the season 6 finale, "The Winds of Winter", Bran Stark has a vision of the past which shows Ned reuniting with a dying Lyanna in the Tower of Joy. Lyanna makes him promise that he will protect her son—Jon. He had promised his sister to protect this child. Ned was supposed to keep it secret that the child's name was Aegon Targaryen, the last living conqueror.
Jon Snow is seen as a slender, white Northman with brown hair and brown eyes. Jon Snow, at present bears the title, the King in the North. He was the first man to make friendship between freefolks and Northmens. He was also the 998th lord commander of Night's Watch, also called the Castle Black in the popular series of Game of Thrones.

Character Review: Roose Bolton

Character Review: Lady Brienne of Tarth

Lady Brienne, the sworn protector of the Kingguard of Renly Baratheon was from the least popular place of Tarth. Her father was the Lord of Tarth of whom she is the only heir, alive. She is unusually tall and muscular for a woman by Westerosi standards and developed a taste for martial activity as a child. Lady Brienne was later sworn for protecting the Stark children on command of Lady Catelyn Stark. Brienne is the sole surviving child and heir of Lord Selwyn Tarth of Evenfall Hall, on the island of Tarth, located in the Narrow Sea off the coast of the Stormlands. Brienne has grown up to become skilled at arms and dreams of becoming a knight. Character Review: Tywin Lannister

  Tywin Lannister is the head of the House Lannister situated on the Casterly Rock. He was the one who was the Hand of the King Aerys Targaryen as well as fought from the rebellion side to abduct the King. A highly capable administrator, Tywin served as Hand of the King to Aerys II Targaryen for twenty years until the Mad King, driven by envy and distrust, rejected Tywin's proposal to marry his daughter Cersei to Prince Rhaegar and made his son Jaime a member of the Kingsguard. As members of the Kingsguard are forbidden to marry, Aerys had effectively robbed Tywin of his heir, which Tywin perceived as a great insult and resigned. During Robert's Rebellion Tywin remained neutral, answering neither the summons of the King nor the calls from the rebels, until the Battle of the Trident, after which it became clear that the rebels would win. Character Review: Alliser Thorne

Ser Alliser Thorne, one of the brother of the Night’s Watch, is characterized as someone who is very keen of being on Power. For instance, he captures the post of Lord Commander, when Lord Commander Jeor Mormont was killed by his own fellow men under the same roof beyond the wall, becoming the acting Lord Commander. Ser Alliser Thorne even loses the election for Lord Commander to Jon Snow, who was very renowned for his bravery. Ser Alliser never liked Jon Snow because he knew that someone else was becoming smarter than him and someday he might get even more popular than Ser Alliser himself.
