Character Review: Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys Stormborne of The House Targaryen is depicted as the only living human with the Old Valyrian-Targaryen bloodline. She is portrayed as a blonde women with blue/purple eyes which means someone from Valyria. Daenerys is found to be calling herself the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms because her father was abdicated from the throne by some usurpers. Also she does admit that her father was an evil man as he commanded to burn the whole city into ashes. Further, Daenerys Targaryen is one of two living Targaryen in the series-as Aemon is dead-including Jon Snow, who was revealed to be son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. She was married to Khal Drogo, the king of Dothraki tribe.

Character Review: Dickon Tarly

Dickon Tarly, the youngest son of the House Tarly, after Samuel Tarly, is depicted as a tall and strong looking character. In the Season 7 of this series we see Bronn making fun of his name "DI*K-ON". Anyway this innocent looking character was burned by Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen because he refused to kneel. While Samuel can be seen as a book worm in this series, Dickon is just opposite of him. He is seen very passionate about hunting, riding, and fighting. To recapitulate, Dickon Tarly was a good son of a loyal father, but he died following his pride.

Rob Stark and Theon Greyjoy

When you will describe these two characters you will obviously notice a great difference in both of them. One is: one of the friends is loyal to another one but another one is disloyal. It’s similar to saying that a Wolf’s in a Sheep’s clothing. George R. R. Martin is very creative in portraying the betrayal of Theon Greyjoy, the only living true son of Baelon Greyjoy of the Iron Islands, to his best friend Robb Stark. Robb Stark and Theon Greyjoy both were grown together in the Winterfell. Theon was brought by Ned Stark to Winterfell after the Robert’s army killed every living son of Baelon Greyjoy. Robb was pre-destined to be the Lord of Winterfell and the Warden of the North while Theon would only serve Robb as a loyal companion. Further, as the story progressed Ned Stark was kept as a captive for being a traitor on a false charge of committing crime against the crown. Robb Stark got angry about the news. He remembered how his Grandfather and Uncle were burned by the Mad King...

Character Review: Tywin Lannister

Tywin Lannister is the head of the House Lannister situated on the Casterly Rock. He was the one who was the Hand of the King Aerys Targaryen as well as fought from the rebellion side to abduct the King. A highly capable administrator, Tywin served as Hand of the King to Aerys II Targaryen for twenty years until the Mad King, driven by envy and distrust, rejected Tywin's proposal to marry his daughter Cersei to Prince Rhaegar and made his son Jaime a member of the Kingsguard. As members of the Kingsguard are forbidden to marry, Aerys had effectively robbed Tywin of his heir, which Tywin perceived as a great insult and resigned. During Robert's Rebellion Tywin remained neutral, answering neither the summons of the King nor the calls from the rebels, until the Battle of the Trident, after which it became clear that the rebels would win. Tywin marched with the full power of Casterly Rock to the capital, feigning that ...

Character Review: Tyrion Lannister

Tyrion Lannister, depicted as an imp or dwarf or the half man in the famous series of Game of Thrones, acts as a great adviser in most of his counsel. He is the son of Tywin Lannister and brother of Jaime Lannister and Cersie Lannister. He could be characterized as the most open minded person in this series. Tyrion Lannister is famous for his mind refreshing quotes. Some are: 1.      “We’ve had vicious kings and we’ve had idiot kings, but I don’t know if we’ve ever been cursed with a vicious idiot boy king!” 2.      “I try to know as many people as I can. You never know which one you’ll need.” 3.      “Oh, “monster.” Perhaps you should speak to me more softly then. Monsters are dangerous and, just now, kings are dying like flies.” 4.      “It’s not easy being drunk all the time. If it were easy, everyone would do it.” 5.      “Every time we deal with an enemy, we create ...
